Funding & investor relations

Raising money or bringing in external investment? I’ll get you ready. I’ll build solid financial forecasts and help you prep your pitch. I’ll make your business sound desirable to investors or funders and answer any tough questions they have. I can negotiate terms, assess valuation, and keep your interests front and centre. And once investors are in, I’ll handle communications.

Governance & compliance

Clean, transparent finances aren’t about ticking boxes; they build trust and unlock opportunities. I’ll make sure you’ve got the right financial controls in place and that you’re meeting all your regulatory obligations, whether that’s tax filings, audit preparation, or compliance. This becomes even more important if you’re growing quickly or thinking about investment. 

Team leadership & development

If you’ve got a finance team, or even someone doing your books, I’ll support and guide them, so they’re focused on growing your business. I’ll get the right structure in place, upskilling your team or identifying gaps. If you’re using third-party providers, I’ll manage that relationship too.

Technology & systems implementation

I’m big on getting you the right tools for the job. I’ll review what you’re using now to identify how and why it’s holding you back. I’ll put better and more scalable systems in place that save you time, improve accuracy, and give you faster access to the numbers you need to run your business.

Business partnering & commercial input

I’m not here to do finance in a silo. I’m here to be part of your leadership team. I’ll work closely with your heads of department and assess the financial impact of big decisions, so every part of your business is financially and commercially aligned. 

Acquisitions

I’ll dig into the numbers to see if the valuation makes sense, and support with due diligence required. I’ll work out the best way to fund the deal and integrate the new business financially once the deal’s done. It’s about making sure you’re buying something solid that you’re set up to benefit from.

Disposals

My role is to get your business sale-ready. Think of me as your financial right-hand, making sure everything adds up and your story is credible to a buyer. I’ll clean up your financials, tighten processes and prepare packs for buyers. I’ll position your business in the best light, showing the value, highlighting any red flags, and supporting you through negotiations.

Project Management

I’ll make your project financially viable from the start. I’ll stress-test the business case, challenge assumptions, and make sure the expected return is worth your time and investment. Once things are underway I’ll track budgets and flag overspending early, so your money is being spent in the right places. I’ll keep a strategic eye on projects, so decisions add value and align with your goals.
